It was the first day of our winter holiday. All of us were very happy. Because I have one months to do things I love to do. I am free. Although I have some homework. But I can finish them in several days. And the rest time I can make good use of. .I will have a good rest.

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go!

May 6th Sunday

During the summer holidays， my fahter and I visited Beijing. On that day， it was sunny. It took us forty minutes to reach the foot of the Great Wall.

I couldn't wait to climb upward， taking my father's hand. How many people climbing the Great Wall are! My father and I took photos among the crowd as we climbed. After half an hour. I felt a little tired. My fahter encouraged me in the words， "Jingjing， do you know that you are not a man if you fail to reach the Great Wall? Come on!". In the end， I reached the Hero Slope. I felt very happy and proud.

April 8th Sunday

Today is Sunday. I got up very early in the morning. After breakfast I went to the

bookstore. I wanted to buy a book Robinson Crusoe. I looked for the book for quite some time but couldn't find it. The shop assistant then came to help me. I was very glad that I got the book at last.

In the afternoon I called on my friend . She just came back from Beijing. We talked a lot.

In the evening I watched an interesting play on TV. I enjoyed it very much. I had a winderful time.

Last Saturday， I went home by bus. I was reading an interesting book while a voice said to me， "Would you please let me take your seat for a while?" Among the four seasons, I like the winter best, though it is cold, I enjoy the weather. I have a good friend.we became friends since I was five years old, she is my neighbor, we play together all the time. Yesterday, Lucy got her ten year-old birthday, she hold a party in her house, as her good friend, of course I would not miss her party. I bought her a watch as the gift, in the party, we sang and danced, she has many friends, so we played the game, we felt so happy. At last, we sang the birthday song to her and took out the big cake, Lucy made her wish, we ate the cake together. We had great fun at Lucy’s party, I wish her be happy every day.

My holiday

My holiday was good. I stayed at home for sometime. I went to Tianyi Square and bought same games. But one day, my monther, my younger brother and I went to Tianyi digital square to buy games. What is the most important thing in the world? I think it is health.

You can take away our money, house, car, or even our clothes and we can survive. But if our health was taken away, we would surely die. That is why we always try to eat in a healthy way and exercise regularly.

In order to eat healthily, I usually avoid eating food high in fat, like French fries or cookies. I also eat little meat. I eat a lot of vegetables and fresh fruit which are full of vitamins. Taking exercise every day helps us build a strong body. Regular exercise is an important part of keeping me healthy.

What＇s more, I think friends are an important part of one＇s health. Many studies show that people with a wide range of social contacts get sick less than those who don＇t. I always feel better when I am with friends than when I am alone. When I am with my

friends, I always laugh. Laughing is also an important part of health. I like to laugh with my friends.

By eating properly and exercising regularly, I can keep my body at a proper weight and keep healthy. By spending time with my friends, I can keep my mind as well as my body happy. these things sound easy to do, but not many people can manage them. It is exciting to visit different places. As you travel, you will see beautiful sceneries typical of the region. Besides, you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. Finally, you can get to know the customs and living habits of the local people. Today people are so fond of travelling that tourism has become one of the faster growing industries in most countries.

The main reason why people travel is, perhaps, for pleasure. For example, having worked hard throughout the weekdays, people will find a widened trip to the nearby mountains or beaches a real relaxation. For another example, spending an annual holiday travelling abroad is an especially satisfying experience for those who do not have much of an opportunity to be away from their homelands. When people return from their travel, they will generally feel fresh and energetic, ready to work harder.

Travelling is also one of the best means for learning. You may have read or heard about something but you can never get an accurate picture of it until you see it for yourself. Seeing is believing. Furthermore, if you area careful observer, you can learn much during your travel about the geography, biology, and history of the places you visit. No matter how well educated you are, there is always a lot for you to learn through travelling. The knowledge acquired from travel, as you will have found in your life, is no less valuable than that from any influential reference book

How glad I am that summer has come!
