　　教師簡介

　　湖北省公安縣人，1956年生。1974--1977下鄉(xiāng)插隊務(wù)農(nóng)；
1977-1982在華中理工大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系就讀、任教;1982年獲數(shù)學(xué)碩士學(xué)位。1983-1987年在美國明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)系攻讀博士學(xué)位，并獲明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士學(xué)位，博士論文獲全美斯隆博士論文獎;1987-1990為美國德洲A&M大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)系助教授(Assistant Professor);1991年破格提前提升為副教授并獲得終生任期教授資格(tenure)，并為德國康思藤斯(Konstanz)大學(xué)客座教授;1995年被提前提升為終身任期正教授，1998年被美國德州A&M大學(xué)授予杰出人才獎�，F(xiàn)為德州A&M大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)系教授、民營企業(yè)研究中心高級研究員、上海財經(jīng)大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院院長、長江學(xué)者講座教授、中國國務(wù)院發(fā)展研究中心國際技術(shù)與經(jīng)濟(jì)研究所顧問，同時也是香港科技大學(xué)、華中科技大學(xué)、西北大學(xué)等大學(xué)的兼職教授，曾任清華大學(xué)特聘教授。在對1990-2000年全球著名1000名經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家的出版物與被引用次數(shù)進(jìn)行中分別第282位與第504位，在華人經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家中排名分別為第4位與第6位。列入2003年由英國Edward Elgar出版社出版、英國著名經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)術(shù)史專家Mark Blaug 和 Howard Vane根據(jù)社會科學(xué)文獻(xiàn)引證索引所收錄的全世界最有影響的700多名經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家《經(jīng)濟(jì)家名人錄》(《Who is Who in Economics》) 。

　　田國強曾任中國留美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)會會長(1991-1992)，中國旅美社會科學(xué)教授協(xié)會首屆主席(1995-1997)。于1992年6月在中國留美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)會年會上被選為首批學(xué)會資深研究員(Fellow)。曾任德洲A&M大學(xué)中國學(xué)生學(xué)者聯(lián)誼會顧問(1988-1998)，國際英文學(xué)術(shù)期刊《經(jīng)濟(jì)與金融年報》和《中國經(jīng)濟(jì)評論》共同主編、《中國研究評論》，及中文學(xué)術(shù)期刊《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)(季刊)》、《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)報》等的編委。主編的《市場經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)普及叢書》(十四冊)由上海人民出版社和香港智慧出版有限公司于93年10月聯(lián)合在大陸出版，并獲94年度四個大獎:國家級圖書專業(yè)大獎---\"中國圖書獎\"; 由共青團(tuán)中央、文化部、廣播電影電視部及新聞出版署四個中央級單位聯(lián)合組織評發(fā)的國家級大獎---\"首屆中國青年優(yōu)秀圖書獎\";\"華東地區(qū)優(yōu)秀政治理論圖書一等獎\"及\"上海市優(yōu)秀圖書(1991-1993.10)一等獎。
