China"s national college entrance exam, which is set down for June 7 and 8, oc- curred on Monday and Tuesday this year. The exam caused extensive traffic jams in cities and many parents had to take two days off work to accompany their chil-dren to the exam. Some people suggest the college entrance exam be given on the first weekend in June. The Ministry of Education says it will consider the sugges-tion.
