這是一杯白開水，平淡無味，對吧？可是加上點糖呢，他嘗起來會有甜味；如果加的是蘇打水，味道就會變苦。人生同樣如此——個中滋味在于我們的選擇。

when two cultures meet, there may be things in one culture, which do not fit into the tradition of the other. when this happens, we need to learn to understand and respect the customs of another culture. then there are certain things some people may not like. to this, i will say, if you do not like it, please try to tolerate it. to learn to tolerate what you personally don’t like is a great virtue at a time when different cultures mix and merge. before us, there are two rivers, eastern and western cultures. at present, they may run in different

courses. but eventually, they will converge into the vast sea of human culture.

right now, i can see peoples of eastern and western cultures, standing side by side, singing the olympic theme song: we are hand in hand, heart to heart, together we will shape a beautiful tomorrow! thank you!

1月10日上午，人文藝術(shù)系09級、11級旅游英語專業(yè)的學(xué)生在李雪琴、余敏、陳娟和王少蓉老師的帶領(lǐng)下，到桃花嶺飯店進(jìn)行了為期一天的課程見習(xí)。

本次見習(xí)的80位學(xué)生分成了三個小組，分別由桃花嶺飯店營銷、大堂和餐廳經(jīng)理帶領(lǐng)參觀見習(xí)。各位經(jīng)理分別為同學(xué)們講解客房打掃的程序、演示了中式鋪床以及中式用餐的擺臺。這次活動，使同學(xué)們對酒店的職能部門，各崗位的工作職責(zé)以及酒店所提供的各種類型的服務(wù)有了更全面的認(rèn)識。(人文藝術(shù)系)
