　Good morning/afternoon! First thing first, I gotta say,wow,its funny thing to be given a chance like that.Trurh be told,I really got a little bit nervous before I stand right here ,so called stage fright.If you look specifically on me .You may find my hands shaking,pretty assembles the guy who suffered from Pakinsons disease,and legs wobbling ,like I caught so-called ball leg. Okay,lets stop going around the bush and get back to my topic today.I really like to talk a funny story I have just heard.A lady called Lucy emigrated to United States several years ago.Her spoken English is not that fluent .And one day,she is just sitting on the couch with his U.S friends Mandy watching Sit-Com.A noise of bump had the attention of Mandy,which led her to go out of the house trying to figure out what had happened.Can you imagine that Mandy go straight out with merely a sweater.So Lucy shouted at her,"Lucy ,turn your clothes on." What suprised her most,beyond her wildest imagination, is that almost all the male in this country took their head out of

　the window.Admittedly,Lucy made a mistake here .The word spitted means Mandy is totally naked to the reason that male looked out of the window.The right sentence shall be,"put your clothing on."The story inspires you to take a careful look on the vast difference between eastern and western culture. Thats full of it,thank you for your time!

　人自從出生開(kāi)始，就會(huì)跑步，(Since the beginning of birth, well run)跑步是一種本能，是我們躲避傷害的方式(Running is an instinct, which is a way to avoid hurting)。但，更重要的是，跑步是一種能讓人變得更健康的運(yùn)動(dòng)(But, more importantly, running is a kind of movement which make us to become healthier.)。我們每年都要參加體質(zhì)測(cè)試(Physique Examination)，男生要跑 1000 米，女生 800 米，可是總是有些人故意躲避，(Every year we have to participate in the Physique Examination.In the Physique Examination .The boy should run 1000 meters. While 800 metres for girls.But there always some people, try to escape.)他們認(rèn)為，長(zhǎng)跑對(duì)它們來(lái)說(shuō)除了累和痛苦，并沒(méi)有帶來(lái)別的什么。(They think that beside pain, Long-distance running did not bring anything else)

　在我看來(lái)，跑步是一種能讓人變強(qiáng)的運(yùn)動(dòng)(In my opinion, Long-distance running is a sport which can make us stronger)。不僅僅是身體上讓自己變得更強(qiáng)壯，更重要的是在精神上(not only in our

　body,but also in our mand)。當(dāng)你在跑 1000 米的時(shí)候，特別是跑到第二圈的時(shí)候，你會(huì)有 10000 個(gè)理由想停下來(lái)，(When Im running, especially in the second round, I would have get 10,000 excuse to give up)。因?yàn)闆](méi)有人強(qiáng)迫你跑下去，可是你手上的秒表還在走(Because no one forces me to run down, but stopwatch in my hand is still going)。如果你現(xiàn)在停下來(lái)，意味著，你講沒(méi)有成績(jī)，前面的所有努力都將白費(fèi)(If I stop, it means that I have get noting,what have done was in vain)。所以要堅(jiān)持，再堅(jiān)持(So I tell myselfe never give up)。不斷地強(qiáng)化自己的意識(shí)，讓自己成長(zhǎng)，耐得住艱難困苦。(Again and again, I get loneliness.)

　有些例子希望與大家分享(Now I hope to share with you some examples)：

　1.看過(guò)《阿甘正傳》的同學(xué)一定對(duì)其中他跑遍美國(guó)的畫(huà)面印象深刻。為什么阿甘要去跑步( Anyone who have seem the film "Forrest Gump" may impressed in a foce,whice is Gump run around of the United States)，他說(shuō)：跑步是為了忘記過(guò)去，心情不好的時(shí)候就去跑步，沒(méi)有目標(biāo)的時(shí)候就跑步，需要某種東西讓自己平靜下來(lái)，迷失了自己想去找回來(lái)(Why Forrest Gump go running, he said: running is a way to forget the past,

　and I feel bad when Im running, running when I have no target, I need something to calm down, I want to look back because i lost myself.)。執(zhí)著是他一次次成功的原因。(Attachment is the reason why

　he get succes again and again.)

　Now let me lesion a music from the film.

　當(dāng)他跑步的時(shí)候，從一開(kāi)始被人嘲笑，到最后成為領(lǐng)袖，這就是一路收獲的過(guò)程。(The time when he was running from the start.he always be laughed, In the end become a leader.This is the way the process of harvesting.)

　2.2004 屆的一個(gè)學(xué)長(zhǎng)，也是杭電電子學(xué)院的，來(lái)自新疆，家里很窮，可是他很有志氣(The second example.2004 a session of seniors, who come frome Xinjiang is also study in Hangzhoudianzi University Electronic College .His family is poor,

　but he is very discouraged)。從大一開(kāi)始，他每天都要到東邊的操場(chǎng)跑步，跑的也不快，每天堅(jiān)持 10000 米，25 圈，他畢業(yè)的成績(jī)非常好。Begin as a freshman, he goes to the east of the playground every day to do Long-distance running, not fast, but long.Every day 10,000 meters, 25laps, 2008 he graduated vith a good resault.

　最后，我想說(shuō)，當(dāng)你沒(méi)有目標(biāo)的時(shí)候，就去跑步吧，那是件快樂(lè)的事。謝謝!!(Finally, I want to say, when you do not get goals, just run, it is a happy thing.Thank you! !)

　THE first time I saw Bao was in 2005, the year when Thomas and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei, who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him. To tell the

　truth, at first the reason why I liked him was just because I thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) From that time, I have focused on him. Then gradually, I found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.

　He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all the players in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 2006, he is chosen as the flag holder stands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.

　He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 2000, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because of that, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan, so he gained a name which is called 千年老二. In fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his

　character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chinese Badminton Championship 2007 was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the mans single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

　I think this will be the energy of his advancing. And I hope he can keep this fighting will and win the gold medal in the 29th Olympic Games held in Beijing!
