The 2010 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), published since 2003 by the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, said the United States dominates the list with eight in the top 10 and 54 in the top 100. Chinese universities in the top 200 included Peking; Tsinghua and Chinese University of Hong Kong.
　　由上海交通大學(xué)“世界一流大學(xué)研究中心”發(fā)布的2010年《世界大學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)排名》（ARWU）中，美國有八所大學(xué)躋身前十名，有54所大學(xué)進(jìn)入前100強，在排行榜上占據(jù)絕對優(yōu)勢。這一年度排名于2003年首次發(fā)布。躋身200強的中國大學(xué)包括北京大學(xué)、清華大學(xué)和香港中文大學(xué)。
　　
　　The chances of China overtaking the United States as the top foreign direct investment (FDI) destination remain slim in the short term, despite robust momentum in Chinese FDI and the narrowing gap with the US in FDI volume, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) said.
